The K-ON! film ranked fifth in the first preliminary results of the Japan Academy Prizes' All Night Nippon Wadai-Sho prize. For this audience award, listeners of the All Night Nippon radio program are voting for their favorite film and actor until February 2. K-ON! also holds a nomination in the Japan Academy Prizes' Animation of the Year category.
